What's New in Acoustica CD/DVD Label Maker 3?

	The Acoustica CD/DVD Label Maker version 3 now supports Light Scribe technology! What is LightScribe? LightScribe is a new, innovative technology that uses a special disc drive and special media-and label-making software (that's us-the Acoustica CD/DVD Label Maker) to burn labels directly onto CD's and DVD's. Because the labels are laser-etched, instead of printed, there's no ink, no smudging, and no peeling! Version 3.08 now supports printing to multiple LightScribe drives at a time! To reduce the time for the preparing-to-print LightScribe phase, different print qualities now have different image resolutions: 300, 400, and 600 DPI, respectively, for draft, normal, and best mode! You will locate this option after clicking the "print" button.

When selecting LightScribe as your printer with the CD/DVD Label Maker, all selected art will display in graytones. To download an art pack specifically intended for LightScribe,

Version 3 added circular text that supports hard returns and multiple columns. Clicking the "horizontal justification " arrow (the arrow with lines next to it) on the text tool bar allows you to choose "left justified", "centered" or "right justified" text. Here are two CD label examples of justifying curved text. The "centered" curved text to the left and the "left justified" curved text below.

We also added additional CD "instant-format" tracks layouts. Select the "layout" tab in the left hand side of the software to view them.

Version 3 added a new CD tracks lookup service, MusicBrainz! If there's no track lookup result via Freedb, the CD/DVD Label Maker will connect to MusicBrainz. This makes it possible to continue looking up the track information for your commercial audio CD with the CD Label Maker software when your connection to Freedb cannot be made.
