| Creating fun answering machine messages. |
| Have you ever wanted to create a crazy answering machine message just for FUN? Or perhaps, you can't quite get the right timing for your message? You may want to add a bit of your favorite song to the beginning of it. You can use Acoustica MP3 Audio Mixer to record your message from the microphone. Then drag in sound effects and music. You should keep the message length less than 15 seconds. If its any longer than that, it gets to be a pain to listen to every single time people call you. :) The music will have to be shortened which you can do by right clicking on the right hand side of the sound and resizing to the left. Add a couple of volume points so that it fades out properly. Put your phone up to the speaker of your computer and record your message to your message machine. | Emusic.com...why you should listen... |
| In this day and age of questionable copyright laws and a new way of sampling music, there is one place that is definitely legit and will satisfy the music listener's craving: Emusic.com. Every week they send you a new email highlighting new artists. Its easy to just start downloading the new tunes and sample them right then and there! I love exploring new music this way. Every couple of days or so, I download a new album and listen to it until I get sick of it...then I go up to Emusic.com and grab another set of tunes. Repeat Ad Naseum. The cool thing is that these are full MP3s without any kind of limitation to them. You can slice and dice them with the mixer or just burn them to CD with Acoustica MP3 CD Burner. They will not evaporate when and if you quit using the service. While it doesn't have many of the main-stream top 40 tunes, it has enough music to satisfy my MP3-downloading appetite.
