CD Burner tip #1: How to shuffle your song list in burner 4.0 |
| People
have really loved the new version 4.0 and its mixing
abilities, but wondered where the "shuffle button"
went! The good news is that the shuffle feature is still
there. Just select "Shuffle" from the "Song
List" menu! Or, you can hold down the Ctrl key and
then press the L key for quick shuffling! Download

CD Burner tip #2: Help on using the music library.
|
| The
music library represents your music files found on your
computer. Each song's name, album and artist is derived
from the 'tags'. A tag is a portion of a file that
contains text information about a song. Not all songs
have tags! Those songs will be found in the
"Untagged" area of your library. To see your
"Untagged" songs, go the the "Music
Library" and click the [+] next to
"Untagged". You can get songs out of the
untagged area by right clicking on them and filling in their
artist, album and song information and clicking
"OK". Download

Label Maker tip #1:
How to do more with your text (rotate, colors, etc)
|
In
order to keep the interface simple, we have hidden some lesser
used features. When you click on some words or text
within the label maker, a small toolbar will appear under the
"text box". You will see a small 'chevron'
which looks like two greater than signs
">>". Click that and you will be able to
do the following:
- Set
a background color to the text box
- Make
it a thought or speech balloon, oval or other shape.
- Rotate
the text vertically or horizontally.
- Change
margins and alignments.
- Much
more! Just try it!

Label Maker tip #2:
How to use both CD labels on a sheet
|
| When
you print, simply change the number of copies to 2 or more and
the print preview will show that both CD labels on the sticker
sheet will be used. This will save you from having to print,
rotate the paper and then print again when printing multiple
copies of the same CD label!
Note:
The software cannot batch print different label designs
at the same time.

| Mixcraft
tip #1: How to remove ads or other unwanted audio from a
recording.
|
- Record
or add the sound into Mixcraft.
- A
sound clip has a title bar to drag it by and it also has a
lower gray bar on the bottom. By clicking down in
this lower bar, you can make a selection of a portion of a
sound.
- If
you need to, you can zoom in or out by pressing + or - or
by using the mouse wheel.
- Press
the 'Delete' key to remove the ad or unwanted audio.
- Repeat
this process to eliminate all ads and unwanted audio.
- Now
we can use a special feature to re-join these sounds so
that its continuous audio without any silence,
etc.
- Right
click on the track header that the sound was on and choose
"Select All Sounds"
- Select
"Join" from the "Sound" menu or "Ctrl+J"
and you're done!
- Export
it as an MP3 or WAV file and burn it to a CD with Acoustica
MP3 CD Burner!

tip #2: How to split a sound
|
The
trick is to not click directly on the sound initially.
The caret position indicates where the split will take place.
- Click
directly below or above the sound you wish to split at the
position you wish to split.
- Select
the sound by clicking it's title bar.
- Select
"Split" from the "Sounds" menu.
