HOW DO I BEGIN USING
LIGHTSCRIBE? |

Check to make
sure you have a LightScribe-enabled product.
To do this, look for a LightScribe logo on the outside of your
CD drive or your computer.

Get your special
LightScribe media. When
purchasing media, be sure to look for the LightScribe logo on
the CD and DVD packages at a retailer. You cannot burn
LightScribe labels onto media without this logo.

Fire
up your labeling
software. This is the program
you'll use to create your LightScribe discs. That's where we
come in: Acoustica
CD/DVD Label Maker version 3!

HOW DO I BURN A LIGHTSCRIBE
CD?

Create your label design.
Launch
the Acoustica CD/DVD Label Maker software and design the
label onscreen by typing in your text, choosing or importing
graphics, and arranging the text and images as you'd like
them. To
get a jumpstart on your design, choose from the many
backgrounds that have already been created for LightScribe
labels.
Download the free LightScribe art pack to get
started quickly. See additional free art at the LightScribe
web site.

Burn the label. By placing the disc in the drive with
the label-side down.
Then click "Print."

After the label is burned, the disc
will be ejected and your LightScribe CD or DVD is complete.

NEW! CURVED COLUMNS:
Circular text now supports hard returns and multiple columns.
See the example to the right demonstrating how nicely the hard
return works. After typing "Down Memory Lane" the
successive years are added in neat columns. Here's how to do
this yourself:

Click the "text" button at the top of the CD/DVD Label
Maker software. This opens a text window (the text window is outlined
in red). See the example below.

Click the tool bar and select
"Curved Text". Click the yellow "I" beam to edit the text. Any text you now type will be curved.

Type 1950 (or your desired text) for the first line. Click
the "enter" key (on your key board). Type the next line
(1951). The years are neatly placed in a columns. see the
example to the right.
