Fretwriter Lite
Turn your computer into a guitar music studio! Fretwriter Lite
is the easiest guitar music composition software available! No
music theory knowledge is required. Fretwriter Lite’s
user-friendly interface and Virtual Guitar Fretboard, make it
easy to create original songs with Guitar Tablature and Custom
Chord Grids. Playback your composition as any sound you choose
from your computer soundcard like violin, bass, trumpet, piano,
saxophone, special effects or drums ect. Fretwriter Lite allows
you to add lyrics, text, titles, change key signature, change
time signature and much more! You can also create and print out
sheet music with guitar tablature. Use your computer mouse as an
instrument! Fretwriter Lite’s custom Virtual Fretboard makes it
easy to enter notes without any formal music theory training.
Simply select a note value, click on the Virtual Guitar
Fretboard with your computer mouse and that note will appear as
musical notation and guitar tablature. You can also create
custom chord grids and save them to be used to create lead
sheets and chord charts by simply clicking on the chord grid
with the computer mouse.

Play Music
Turn your computer into a music studio! Play Music is the
easiest music composition software available! No music theory
knowledge is required. Play Music's user-friendly interface will
guide you through the composition process; simply click on the
instrument you wish to hear (up to 24 at once!) and Play Music
will play your song with those sounds. Use your computer mouse
as an instrument! Simply select a note, click on the desired
area of your score, and that note will appear. If you make a
mistake, just drag the note; listen for the note that you want,
click the mouse, and you're done! Use any MIDI keyboard! You can
use any MIDI keyboard or any MIDI instrument to notate and play
your song. Record live or by using step entry. Play Music is the
perfect way to learn how to read and write music- by having fun!
And, if you don't have a MIDI keyboard, you need only a
soundcard to choose from over 128 sounds for song playback. You
can also save your pieces as MIDI files to use with other music
software. Import MIDI files and Play Music will automatically
notate them. You can also easily edit MIDI files and save them
as your own. Play Music includes over 30 templates to help you
create new scores.
