WMA Support for Acoustica software

In order to decode, convert and encode .WMA files with any Acoustica software, you will need to install Windows Media Format 9 Audio File setup. Download wmfadist.exe 4 MB

IMPORTANT: If you have a brand new install of WinXP SP2, you may need to run this additional patch program wma-sp2-fix.exe in order to use WMA properly with Acoustica.

Note: In order to install wmfadist.exe, you must install one of the Acoustica software products first! Once you've installed one of our products, you may download and install the wmfadist.exe. The download will take approximately 15-20 minutes on a modem. Once you have downloaded the software, run or "Open" it to install it! The installation program will be called 'wmfadist.exe'. If you are unsure of where you put the installation, just search your computer for the file 'wmfadist.exe'. Once found, double click or run it to start the installation. You will, most likely, have to restart your computer once it is done. Note that you can use our software without installing this software from Microsoft. However, if you want to encode or decode WMA files, you will need to install this software.
