Netscape/WinAmp Users - Read This!

If you are having trouble downloading the install file because WinAmp keeps trying to play the installation file, right click on the download link above and select "Save Target As..." instead!

Internet Explorer Users - Recommended download method


1.	After clicking the download link on the download page, you will see this window. Make sure to select "Save this program to disk" and then press OK. You will then be asked to pick a location and you'll need to press the "Save" button.


2.	The download progress will continue...Make sure that you uncheck the "Close this dialog box when download completes" as seen in the diagram above.


3.	Click the "Open" button when the download is done! The installation will start!

Download Accelerator (DAC) Help

After clicking the download link, Download Accelerator might pop up one of these windows.

If you see the above box, choose "Add Mirror". If that doesn't work, choose "Rename" The installation name will be automatically named to a different file.

The following error box is not necessarily accurate.

DAC can get out of WHACK at times and I would suggest deleting any previous download entries on the main DAC screen and keep trying. I verified this behavior on a local server that would not have had any internal errors.

Default help - I've downloaded it. Now what?

You've already downloaded it and you're not sure if it installed or not.

To verify that you've installed the software, click the Start button, followed by clicking "Programs". Make sure that you see the software listed on the pop-up menu. You may need to click the >> arrow to 'unhide' the whole list of programs.

If it doesn't look like the software is installed, you'll need to search for the installation on your computer.

You can find it by clicking the Window's Start button, followed by clicking "Find", followed by clicking "Files or Folders". Type in '*acoustica*installer*.exe' without the single quotes, make sure that "My Computer" is selected in the "Look In" control and press the "Find Now" button. Once it finds the file, make sure it is the correct installer and double click it to start the installation.

If you can't seem to find it, try downloading it again, but make sure to follow these instructions.
