You can trim the start and end of any clip.  Just move the mouse to the right or left edge of a clip.  The cursor will change into a left-right re-size arrow cursor-resize-sound.  Hold the mouse down and drag to re-size or trim.

Drag to the left or right to get the desired trim.  Zoom in or use the snap setting to trim with better precision.

Cropping or trimming a clip

You can crop the left or right edge of any clip.  The clip will trim based on the snap settings.  If you cannot trim a clip to a specific length it is probably because snap is on and you need to turn it off.

Crop From A Selection

Make a selection over a clip or group of clips.  The area that is selected will be cropped.  Crop the clips by choosing the "Crop" menu item from the "Edit" menu.  (Alternatively, right click on the selection and choose "Crop".)

You can loop any clip by dragging.  Move the mouse to the left or right edge until the cursor turns into a left right re-size cursor cursor-resize-sound.

Simply click on the left or right edge of the clip, hold the mouse down and drag left or right.

Guitar Looped (Loops are shown in red)

Each loop is represented by a triangle on the top and bottom of the sound.

The clip will loop based on the snap settings. (If you cannot change a clip to a specific length it is probably because snap is on and you need to turn it off.)

Alternatively, you can click on the "+1 Loop" button on the top left portion of a clip.

hmtoggle_arrow1 Removing Space Between Clips

Removing Spaces Between Clips causes any selected clips to be moved so that there is no silence between sounds.  It does not combine the sounds into one big sound, though.

You can remove gaps or space between the selected clips by selecting "Remove Spaces Between Clips" from the "Edit" menu.
