You can change the pitch, key, edit loop points or time stretch sounds on the Sound tab.

hmtoggle_arrow1 Edit Name

 

Change the name of a clip.  Press the Enter key to make the change.  Alternatively, change the name and click anywhere else.

 

hmtoggle_arrow1 Mute/Unmute

 

Click the speaker icon to toggle a sound's muted state.

 

hmtoggle_arrow1 Lock or Unlock

 

Click the lock icon or unlock icon to toggle a sound's locked state.

 

hmtoggle_arrow1 Offset

 

Change the offset of a sound by entering in minutes, seconds and milliseconds or using the spinner controls.

 

If in "Beats" mode, these edit boxes will be in measure, beats and partial beats.  (1000 partial beats = 1 beat. )

 

hmtoggle_arrow1 Length

 

Change the length of a sound by entering in minutes, seconds and milliseconds or using the spinner controls.  (If the sound is made long enough, this will also cause it to loop.)

 

If in "Beats" mode, this edit boxes will be in measure, beats and partial beats.  (1000 partial beats = 1 beat. )

 

hmtoggle_arrow1 Time Stretch / Tempo

 

Set the mode of the time stretching for this sound to adjust to the project tempo or to a specific time stretched amount.

 

hmtoggle_arrow1 Adjusting Pitch, Key or Transposition

 

Set the mode of the pitch shifting for this sound to adjust to the project key or a specific pitch adjustment.

 

hmtoggle_arrow1 Show / Hide Controls Button

 

Click the [<<] Show/Hide Controls button to see more sound data, instead of the controls.  This will toggle between showing and hiding the controls.  To show the controls again, click the [>>] button.
